Looks after the Romanian text and the practical guides — opening hours, prices, and what you can actually do at eleven on a Saturday morning with two children in tow.
She works as a speaker and event planner for children, running outdoor workshops and programmes for schools and kindergartens in Cluj-Napoca, and trained as a Forest School teacher. She describes speaking and event planning as the same job: building a context in which someone understands something they did not understand before.
That is a fair description of a good guide, and it is why the practical half of this site is hers. A museum that does not publish its hours somewhere findable is not closed — it is merely inaccessible, which for a visitor amounts to the same thing. The piece on the Art Museum's opening hours exists because those hours do not appear in the museum's own Google listing.
The same concern has a site of its own, timpafara.ro — a guide to what you can do with children in Cluj, listing 307 providers, courses and workshops, of which 71 publish their price. Meda writes the part of this site that overlaps with it: the exhibitions and museums you can actually take a child to, with the hour and what it costs.
She studied Communication and Public Relations at FSPAC in Cluj. She has been marketing manager at Asociația Future Hubs since May 2024 and edits the association's Romanian-language publishing.
