Mind Frames exhibition looks at art and emotions

Mind Frames presents photographs, videos and texts developed by students around encounters with art. The project follows states noticed before and after artistic experiences.

The project began with journals in which participants recorded their own states or changes seen in other people. Photography and text were used to document those observations.

The observed encounters included listening to music, watching films and artworks, dancing, acting and drawing. Journal notes were then reworked into staged photographs and videos, made in a studio or outdoors.

The exhibitors are Teodora Alexandra Banea, Ameea Jurca, Krisztina-Alexandra Nyegrán and Miriam Rus. The curators are Andreea Mogoș and Claudia Cacovean, and the project is a collaboration between Centrul Cultural Clujean and Facultatea de Științe Politice Administrative și ale Comunicării.
