A sculptor who graduated from the sculpture department at UAD Cluj (1996–2001) and a member of the Cluj branch of the Artists’ Union. He works in bronze, wood, stone and fired clay.

Liviu Bumbu is a sculptor. According to his page on O Galerie de Artă, which cites the catalogue of the 2022 “Camil Ressu” National Art Biennial, he graduated from the sculpture department of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca (1996–2001), in Aurel Cucu’s class, and is a full member of the Cluj branch of the Artists’ Union. He works in bronze, wood, stone and fired clay.

In Cluj he showed at the Artists’ Union annual salon from 2000 to 2018, at the “Bronze Age” small sculpture biennial at the Art Museum (2007–2017) and at the museum’s Annual Art Salon in 2025. In 2014 he had a solo show at Corvin Castle in Hunedoara. In 2026 he published the sculpture catalogue “Between Matter, Memory and Spirit”.
