Cristina Marian was born in Cluj-Napoca on 15 September 1973. According to her page on O Galerie de Artă, she studied easel painting at the “Ioan Andreescu” Academy of Visual Arts (1994–1999), took a master’s at the University of Art and Design (2005–2007) and doctoral studies in fine and decorative arts at the same university (2010–2015). She is a member of the Cluj branch of the Artists’ Union.
Her painting series include “Entropic Gravity”, “Stardust” and “The Echo of Colours”. In 2025 she showed in Cluj with Marius Lehene, Cristian Porumb and Mihail Tomescu in the exhibition “Acolo / There”, with a critical text by Oliv Mircea.
